That song - Kyrie eleison, by Mr Mr - has deeper lyrics than I'd ever imagined - I'd heard the song many times before but never really knew what it was about.
And the song by Foreigner - "I've got to take a little time - a little time to think things over... I want to know what love is!" Awesome song!

I LOVE John Denver too!
This one about horses & eagles is actually pretty spiritual...

Thanks, Perspective. I love Eagles & Horses too... and in fact, his whole 'Windsong' album is packed with uplifting and thoughtful songs.

I do love such songs - I'll try to remember some more.

Kate Bush - Watching You Without Me (a song about a spirit watching her partner in their house after her death)

The whole album that it is from is open to interpretation but it's not the only song from it that I'd say deals with spiritual themes. Kate Bush has some of the most beautiful songs.

More Tool:

Parabol & Parabola

Wings for Marie (Pt 1)

10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)

Maynard has lots of songs out there from all of his "projects" that are spiritual in nature. Puscifer has one, where I can't tell if he is semi-mocking a Christian preacher but the message is a good one. Also, The River by Puscifer is pretty good. He varies in style all around, so if you listen to one song and don't like it, move on to another. Everything is different.
