The film, "Lucy" (directed by Luc Besson) has its intriguing points as well, on a spiritual and evolutionary level.
Lucy was great, just watched Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets(Another Besson movie). Interesting way to mold dimensions/time/planetary energies/impacts of the ego mind across a storyline of humans and the universe. Free on Amazon prime.

Like others, really enjoyed Altered Carbon recently. The OA is great, and they're currently filming season 2.

Here and Now on HBO is next on the list.

Oh a season two of OA... love it! Will really look forward to that. I love that the list is growing, for a rainy day with too much time :)

My brother just insisted I see Dunkirk - in what way it is good for the soul I don't know, but he insisted it lifted his heard alot.

Yes 'indeedy' (!), as to, "The OA's" second season currently being in production! I am thrilled! I identify/resonate with the character of, "Prairie" quite a bit...There will be eight episodes again. Apparently, much of it is going to be set in San Francisco (my favorite city!) and they've also taken a new writer on board. It's likely to premiere at the end of this year/ the beginning of next. Two years we all will have waited!

EndoftheRoad, I've bene curious about, "Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets" as I like much of Besson's work. Thanks for the recommendation here.

Apparently it had mixed reviews, but I quite liked the sci-fi flick, "Passengers." I thought the storyline to be quite unique and thought-provoking.

Realm Ki, I have heard many a time that "Dunkirk" is excellent - although I'm not so much into war films (with the exception of Stanley Kubrick's, "Full Metal Jacket").

Honestly, I wish more films/shows were being made with a spiritual/transcendental/cosmic theme. I cannot get enough of them and it's a much neglected genre but, hopefully, in time that will change.

Oh I just saw Rectify - my oh my what an amazing series!

Without any scifi or such it managed to be the most spiritual thing I've seen ever I dare say. Beautiful.
