something struck me about this thread of yours sparrow,after i started spirituality years back,i used to feel guilty and cut down upon my enjoyment.

it was like i was trying to starve my senses,and concentrate more on spirit.I used to feel guilty,i used to miss my enjoyment,i was a very lively person who loves to enjoy every moment.but that started changing.

now i learnt the hard way,that life is for living,not just living,but loving each and every moment of it.not just enjoying,but enjoying and feeling more refreshed,more energetic,feeling the life energy more and more deeply.so it is the complete opposite of what i was doing.

in each and every picture that u have posted in this thread,i felt the positive vibrations and the positive messages.we have to live a fuller,richer,more vibrant life than ever before,and it IS possible only due to spirituality.thanks so much,neets.

You make a valid and important point.

A spiritual path should not compel you to ignore or neglect the life to which you are a part, only compel you to aspire greater meaning and purpose within it.

If one is to become joyless, their spirit shall become lifeless.
If spirit becomes lifeless, its existence becomes worthless.
It is from the joy that life brings that the spirit does measure the value of its worth.
