I was just sent this vid and thought might help some of you. For me one of the key take away is that we should pay attention to the subtle signs, not only the obvious ones which are easy to detect once you know what to look for. Also, someone giving you intermittent reinforcement doesn’t necessarily make them a predator. They might be unaware and/or behaving in that way triggered by their own pain.
Lastly something we all know, even if just deep down, no one can be saved by someone else. That includes us and them. But we can save ourselves. Often that means looking at our best interest and making a conscious decision to claw ourselves out from a situation that keeps us miserable.
