When would you choose to end it?
If you were made healthy, all diseases cured and the body given doses of a regenerative to keep you the same age you are now indefinitely when would you choose to end it? I'd like to go in 6.5 billion years with the Earth into the sun. Just sounds romantic.

Why end it? If I'm in good shape, what would be the point? I think that sounds rather romantic myself...

I never had a life to end, there is a body that dies, but that's not who i am.

Yes. Although I've grown kind of attached to this body, but it's not my life.
Always thought my life was beyond the stars, deep inside the earth, in a wink, a blade of grass, a heated debate, a hug, a dog's devotion, a baby's giggle, tadpoles, Jupiter...
Hugs

Just the thought of that makes me cringe.....I think that eventually, you would yearn to go Home, to be with your loved ones and be without the burdens of life on your shoulders......

Au Contrare. Body is causality of mind, so 'you' will one day not exist, but mind will continue in others.

I would end it when I no longer found joy in living. When loneliness' bite became too vicious, when the difference between me and others became unbearable, when watching one more dear one suffer from the things I alone had been spared, when I had had to see my children die. Then I would end it.

Hmm, well let's see. Live forever on an imperfect Earth or die and go to a perfect utopia that is usually known as heaven? I'll still take death, I'm sorry. It's like someone asking what if you had a choice between having millions of dollars but not being able to go visit your homeland and family or moving back or visiting your home and being broke, which would you choose. I'd still choose being broke, because I'd still want to go home and see my family. Heaven is our real home, not Earth, so of course I'm still gonna choose death.

Agreed! The burdens of life would become too enormous to bear. Life is finite for a reason. And it is for the same reason that we normally don't recollect our past lives. The burden of all past problems would give us a massive case of anxiety.
