So... saying "I am sorry" can be a "bad" thing? People love to gossip, and some people, like me, try to make sense of this reality we call life.

You see, that's why people can't have meaningful discussions, because their words are misinterpreted (sometimes willingly).

It is human nature to take the path of least resistance, because so many of us are quite selfish and lazy.

So choosing the good action may require a bit more effort and a bit more self-sacrifice. Choosing the bad action is often easier and may promise some kind of temporary gratification.

Regarding how we treat other people, we tend to be driven by our subconscious impulses. We want to protect and promote our own small ego so we can maybe feel better about ourselves.

This is why the spiritual journey is so difficult at first, because we have to recognise our tendencies to be selfish and lazy and we have to understand our own subconscious drives, and then we have to consistently make the choice to do good. All too often we fall short, but this is all part of our learning. As we become less identified with our small ego and less attached to our personal desires then it gets easier to choose the right action.

Choices feed a foundation already in place in people. So we choose according to reaction to something activated inside often by something outside. Conditioned minds, emotional reactions, fear and pain, hurt and sadness, trauma, raised through poor parental modelling, can often trigger choices that your perceiving as ‘bad’ action, and reactions.



So it’s often just what is until people are more consciously aware and change to know more, do better than previously.

@inavalan I gave you an answer based on your answer, my question was related to the fact that in a certain situation, we, humans, tend more to chose the easier solution, which in most cases is the bad one.I am sorry if I got your words wrong, feel free to write your own view too.

@imthat, @JustBe you both are right, I noticed that from my own experience, it's something instinctive ( subconscious impulses ), I am at a state where slowly I am becoming aware of my own actions, this in turn is helping me control myself.Yes, we are learning, some people need more time and other people less time.
