I especially loved the colors of the water spiders, the sense of depth it gives off is amazing, can i ask for some details about the technique and the medium used ? I don't spot much blending so my guess is watercolors or tempera.

Thanks Eyeland! 😀 These were all done with Liquitex acrylics.
Water Spiders was inspired by a photo a professional artist friend of mine took (John Alexander). If you like the painting, the photo will really mesmerize you - as it does me! (see link below).
