The colours are so powerful. I enjoyed following the shapes around the canvas, there are faces in there, curled up between the flowers. figures that seem to appear and move across the canvass.
About the camera flash - to avoid unwanted hotspots you can use a piece of toilet paper folded up to diffuse the power of it if its an automatic camera.
if you have a mounted flash unit point it up at the ceiling to diffuse the light.
