One day soon eating meat will be looked back on in the same way we currently view smokers and people who wear fur coats.
I probably shouldn't say that, still it's true and that's the way it will be eventually. And hey, I'm not laughing at people, I'm laughing with them... it's just the future versions of them I'm laughing with. My own timeline:
~15 years ago - quit eating meat because touching it to cook it - let alone the thought of putting it in my mouth afterwards - disgusted me.
~12 years ago - quit dairy and breads when I grokked that pizza was making me sick every time I ate it.
~8 years ago - removed all processed foods from my diet. I was vegan at that point although I never called myself that because I don't like labels.
~5 years ago - switched to a fruit and vegetable only diet. That is my current diet. I am back to my highschool weight. And all my digestion problems have disappeared.
