Just watched a very good movie I'd never heard of before in the New Release section of streaming Netflix last night. It was called "From Time To Time" and starred Maggie Smith and the woman who played Shirley Valentine on stage and in the movie... whose name escapes me just now! Really a lovely movie incorporating time travel and spirits of those passed on communing with the living. I highly recommend it!

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington - last night. I adore old movies and this is one of my favorites.

Anna Karenin.
Jude Law, Kiera Knightley and other excellent actors. Plus, set in a very crafty way which took out the intensity of the darkness of the story.

Cover Girl, Gilda (pretty Rita Hayworth:-) and The Haunted (great ghost story 1995 UK). All really great in their own ways.

Ohh! Was it good? I loved Anna Karenina the novel and I'm willing to give the movie a chance if it was reasonably close to the novel and well done in it's own right.
