Nostalgia for the future

Does anyone else experience this? A kind of nostalgia for somewhere you've never been in this life, but doesn't visually fit in with historical development.

Since I was younger, I've 'seen' places that feel familiar and comforting. Not exactly like home... just comforting. But each of these visuals fits in with our conventional images of the future. Clean cut modern lines, what seems to be vaguely advanced technology in the background - nothing that would have existed in the past. (Far as I'm aware!)

But it always feels like I've been to the places. The energy feels so recognizable.

Can our reincarnation timelines jump? Does everything have to be chronological, or can we go from the future to the past? Do concepts like that even exist in the energetic realm?

I have no answers, but I have a friend who's had much the same experience as you. She believes that it is a glimpse of the future, her future. I hope I remember to keep an eye on this thread to see what others say. Maybe there will be something I can share with my friend.

Btw...she used the same word: comforting. (Very interesting!)

Really?! Huh! That is so strange... Thank you for letting me know! If you get a chance, ask her if there's a sense of scarcity to the locations she sees. I think that's the comforting part. I'll sometimes get images jam-packed with what seems like futuristic tech, but for the most part, it's always so simplistic. Nothing is cluttered, nothing ever feels like too much or too little - it's just enough. Clean and sharp and crisp. Like everything is absolute.
