Different methods of leaving the body?

I'm curious to hear how you guys do it?

I can get extremely relaxed that I float out of my body or I am travelling to some place at a high or slow speed. I imagine I am doming some activity and I am doing it. I walk, run or step out of my body. I have rolled out as well. When I meditate I can instantly go to some place without doing anything.

Thanks, that's helpful. I have rolled out once, but somehow did it wrong and rolled into my mattress, lol which was of course strange. Usually I just try to sit up, but maybe I'm doing it too slowly because somehow I just get pulled back down and cant seem to get out of my phys body

If you go through the mattress you are not doing it wrong. Still do it and you can come out and go to some place. When you are getting out of your body, it is better to do it quickly. If you do it slowly there are more chances to mess it up.

Last night I attempted it again, and when I'm trying to sit up it feels as if I'm "frozen", I saw three lights in front of me which I felt something from. Next time I attempt an AP I'll see if I can get enough energy to maybe sit up or roll out more quickly! I'm not sure what the lights were but I felt a presence/energy from them and I'm thinking it might help me get enough energy to get out of my body : )

all i do is relax and just ramdomly float out of my body but im sure everybody will give u better methods this is just the 1 method that works for me the best

Thanks for the responses. Last night as I was falling asleep I literally felt as if I was falling (through the mattress again lol) I tried to stay calm but I somehow got anxious and jolted back into my body, my right hand + arm was doing some type of strange shaking thing which I found funny. Tonight I'm going to put on some headphones and maybe binaural beats or something to keep me more calm when separating from my body
