Random blue and purple hairs

I have naturally dirty blonde/light brunette hair. Some strands are very blonde, some are more honey, most are light brown, and some are dark brown. It's a mixture to say the least.

However, I have this weird phenomenon happen once in a while when I'm looking through my hair to trim split ends. Every now and then, I will find a strangely electric blue looking color strand of hair, or a dark purple strand of hair, or sometimes just reddish strands of hair, which really isn't that weird obviously since people do have red and auburn color hair naturally.

So has anyone ever noticed strange colored hair on their head that just appear naturally? I just don't understand. I wouldn't know what would cause the color to change like that on just one or two hairs randomly. I don't use weird shampoos and I also do not color my hair with anything. And as far as I know, nothing touches my hair that would color it accidentally.
