Past 2 mercury retrogrades extremely difficult

In fall Mercury went into retrograde over Virgo, my sign. At the same time, there was the solar eclipse. Shortly after, my friends and family turned against me like I've never before witnessed. Thankfully the issue went away once the retrograde was over, but it really damaged my relationships. I still can't trust my previous best friend and barely ever talk to him.

Then, just recently there was another retrograde, this time over Sagittarius, which is my moms sign. I went to visit for the holidays and it was a disaster. Communication was unbelievably poor. I was receiving a ton of negative energy from her specifically. When I started mirroring it back to her, everyone lost their minds. I arrived there with a very positive attitude and I left with a terrible one.

Anyone else have a difficult holiday? How do you deal with people polluting your field with negativity? I bought some crystals yesterday that are good for retrograde and repelling bad vibes. I can't wait to get them.

Mercury retrograde provides a way to view life from different lenses. The key is to understand this and observe with a non emotion approach. Now that Mercury is out of shadow and direct communication will be clearer. Somewhere in all this is a message from the universe.
As for negative pollution I create a teflon coat around my aura so that the energy cannot effect me. I actually use a can of "Pam" for this when I do my meditative ritual. It will block the negative energies which I sent down to Mother Earth to regenerate for the good of all. Try it , it may work for you.

I feel so miserable, I am resorting to a cleansing technique that a South American psychic uses: putting a fresh coconut under the bed and leaving it there for several weeks! Supposedly it absorbs negativity? This is traditionally done around New Year's but I missed that so oh well. When you feel the time is right and a lot of the negativity has been absorbed, you take the coconut somewhere out in nature where birds and animals can eat it My pal recommended the beach but now that I've moved inland that's impossible so I'll just take it to a forest and crack it open against a tree and leave it for the critters who will surely be grateful.
