Energetic cording

So I was looking for advice regarding energetic cording. As a child I lived in close proximity with my mother and two sisters and I believe we somehow energetically attached to one another. I also believe that the closeness we had lead to enmeshment and blurred boundaries.

Now this is causing problems and I want to release these attachments from me. Sometimes when I speak to my mother or sisters I can feel this energetic attachment and I think it is effecting my life. Also I think I unconsciously try to cord any other people that I meet as it is the only way I learnt to build relationships.

I am currently working on building healthy emotional and energetic boundaries as I don't believe I have ever really had any.

Has anyone dealt with this problem before and have any tips to share. I have been doing cord cutting meditations to help release these attachments.

Put up a psychc/emotional shield between you and the person in question when you are with them or when you sense a problem happening.

I've had to do this with my mom and since I learned to do so she has been much more pleasant to be around. I've also been using it around ornery co-workers with wonderful results. They can [edited by staff/refer to language rule]and moan all day long and it won't have an effect on me like it used to.

Maybe by the same merits stop yourself from "cording" new people. When you sense it happening put up a boundary that doesn't allow you to attach to them.

To dissolve existing cord, try feeling them in your etheric body and evoke divine /angelic existence for cutting the cord. Dissolve any remains by visualizing divine light around any ends/residual cord and imagine it healing the area where the cord was. Send the cord away to the divine forces to deal with by visualizing it happen with light.
A cord to the mother might be sensed at the back of the body behind the navel area.
Repeat the scan and exerfcise whenever needed.Though once you become conscious you may not"re-cord" at all.If a cord can be sensed it is usually a draining and negative attachment. Pay attention to what or who gives you energy and which interactions drain them. Some people are habitual drainers and some just go through phases. Mothers are likely to be sometimes nurturing and sometimes draining. Keep an open and compassionate mind:)

You've gotten some excellent advice here I'm wondering if you do any Light work? Visualizing yourself enfolded in a ball of Light and the entire outer surface is mirrored.

Thanks i'll practice the tips given. I have actually started working on my aura. To actually retract it inward as I think it projects to far out from me. Which I attribute to a lack of emotional and energetic boundaries.

I have been visualizing my self in a ball of light but not with the outer surface mirrored. I'll give it a try.

Hi TonySG!

Ask and visualize the Light expanding beyond the perimeter of your fields and see if that does't help.

I feel something on my back not sure what it is how do u break cords also seal them so nothing can attach
