Lightbulb Holocaust memorial day

Yesterday was the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. In one of the most shameful pages of known history, millions of people were slaughtered on the mere fact that they had different ethnicity, and others for their different political views or sexuality, and other ''undesirable'' traits. Families torn apart, children taken away from their parents, people forced to work under terrible conditions, then murdered when of no longer use.

How could something as gruesome as this have happened?
We should not forget what humanity is sadly capable of.

Blessed are the survivors and all the people that fought against the hatred and courageously offered shelter.

What makes it even worse is that a lot of nazi war criminals got off easy. Most of them which were imprisoned after the war were eventually released due to a mysterious so-called amnesty nobody knows anything about. Should've hanged all of them...

Actually the Liberation was a wonderful day to go down in history.
Finally liberated!
Ha, but I knew what you meant Altair.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

We will never forget....

I moved to Germany when I was twelve years old and left when I was nineteen years old. The German people I some with while I was there felt shame for what happened. It wasn't just jews. It was gypsys, socialist, homosexuals, and so many others. We all need to never let this happen again.

How many times did Jews beg for the Allies to drop their un-dropped bombs on the tracks leading to Auschwitz only to be ignored?

The Germans were not the only ones with blood on their hands.

How easy it was to turn our backs on the Jews just like it has been for other modern atrocities.

History is wrong:Egocentric male machoism is wrong, why should it be celebrated?

Why live in the past where it was wrong.

Ps.No offense to those who have fallen in the past.

Just saying, history was wrong and to reiterate, there is no need to keep the egocentric macho machine going, the past, the memories alive like yesterday,as the media does.

Look at the real enemy.
