I've had that happen too, someone unfriended me, than pretended it didn't happen face to face..
Never bothered asking why, didn't really saw him as a 'friend' anyway.

I hate social media. It's ruined us. Lol.

P.s.
It helps not to take this kind of stuff personally.

I have a friend who has unfriended me on FB two or three times now, yet it isn't just me. It's usually a lot of people. She seems to go through life phases where she purges friends and starts her online life anew. She unfriended me again a month or two back. I sent her a sincere message wishing the best in life for her and to let her know I care about our friendship.

She sent me another request and I accepted.

If another unfriending comes along and should she get in touch and would like to hang out?

In a heartbeat I would! It's not about whom they are but whom you are.

What kind of friend or person do you want to be?

But I will say if you truly do find this person draining don't just let them walk on you either. You don't have to meet up for the sake of being nice or spiritual either. You should have healthy boundary lines in place.

Much good wishes to you!

Not entirely true. It takes (at least) two people to make an interaction; to become a problem or its solution, as I see it. Best for people to follow their instincts. I don't have any social media accounts but if someone face-to-face said they wanted no further contact with me I'd leave it at that - and be most suspicious if they tried to reverse it later. What are they after? I'd think. There's always a cost of some kind!

Maybe it would be a good thing if people unfriended me more often… It would spare me the effort of removing fake people from my friends list because true buddies wouldn't unfriend you. Most who add you aren't really friends anyway, they just want to ''collect'' as many people possible to look impressive.

GalTrav, I wouldn't make any conclusions/assumptions.I also would not be naive. Trust your own sense of knowing. Always be careful with ANY online communication. Unfortunately there are so many manipulators, scammers, and MANIPULATORS After awhile you can sense them within a heartbeat xoxo

I was unfriended and blocked

And I did not like that. I almost died from suicide. We spoke for 3 months.
