My two favourites are Florence Welch and Kate Bush - I can barely get through a line of Never Let Me Go or Don't Give Up without absolutely crumbling, they sing with so much vulnerability and feeling I love Christine McVie's voice, too, for much the same reason (Songbird is just a beautiful song).

Rising Appalachia
A great female duo with most emphasis on their vocals
They make like blues/folk/soul music
But with a very experimental and world music spin on it

Good evening and I have a great love for art in many forms. One of them is music, reading over the posts here I was amazed that we are fans of a lot of the same female singers. I could never choose just one, I love the music of Within Temptation, Evanescence, Stevie Nicks, Florence and the Machine, Inkubus Sukkubus, Blackmore's Knight, Avril Lavigne, Sarah Brightman, Dido, Heart, Enigma, Vienna Teng, Lana Del Rey, Adele, Tatu, Qntal and Lindsey Sterling and also Chvrches. But of course there is so much more that I could go on with. I would have to make a list and that would take too long. Sleep well everyone and take good care.

Blessed Be.
