I would be a Rosella bird, as they are adorable and lovely, and they make me smile whenever I see one!

Also, baby sparrows are so lovely!

I WANT to say an amazing majestic noble eagle......

Buut, I have to admit I would more closely resemble an Eqyptian Vulture.

They are smart enough to use rocks to smash ostrich eggs (even from the air) and mate for life and take equal roles in raising their chicks.

They have a habit of completely caking themselves in dirt either to fix their plumage or just for the heck of it because they spend heaps of time picking around on the ground anyways. *Shrugs*

They are also known as "The Pharaoh's Chicken" because they apparently look like scruffy chicken in fresh plumage and are/was the symbol of one of the oldest and most important dieties of Southern Ancient Eqypt, Nekhbet, who was the protector of the Pharaoh.

The vulture heiroglyph was used to form the words, mother, ruler, prosperious and grandmother.

Not bad for a scavenger, eh?

What a great little thread~*~

Not bad for a vulture (scavenger) indeed, Sangie.

Today I think I'll be a red-winged blackbird, looks sorta military with those red epaulettes...and this evening, mmmaybe a loon, crazy yet hauntingly beautiful sound they make, yeah. Birds like humans are all beautiful in their own way.

Owls are the greatest.
My son totally lost it one time we were watching a nature show and this one owl turned his head around going the opposite way from the usual, I thought he was gonna go through the wall laughing.
