Ex as twin flame?

Hello everyone I am new here and I had an ex who I dated 10 years ago and lasted for almost a year 11 months to be exact. I consider him to be my first love. When we broke up I felt as apart of me died. When we reconnected a couple years later one day he drove me home from work. Sitting next to him my whole body felt electrified and I never felt that way with anyone. Being around him I felt so comfortable at home with him. Ive had intense dreams about him on and off for quite a few years. Currently we are not in contact and I feel as though he wants nothing to do with me as last year i sent him a message on fb messenger wishing him a happy birthday but no response. We both are with other people but i feel as if he is my twin flame and as much as I try and get him out of my head out of my thoughts it wont go away as I dont think it's fair that if I'm with someone I should have these.
