Lol. Anyone else heard of this "guy?" I can't get much info on it besides the West Virginia mothman story. Also "smiling man."

Looking for more resources, thanks for any info.

Yeah remember that name from the movie Mothman w/Richard Gere. It is the only movie that ever made me feel forced to sleep with the tv on as my nightlight for YEARS. And I don't scare easy, lol! Did you ever read the book or see the movie? My son and I saw the movie but he read the book, too and said there's a bit of a divergence between it and the movie. What brings this up?

The mothman always reminded me of the appearence of "spring heeled jack" a well known urban legend from london on the 19th centuary any connection I dont know
