I love music and I've been learning Japanese for 4 years now. So I am personally translating the music I am listening to. And I like to share it.
If you like to listen to different and unique music, this might be fun.

Often I make lyric video's, but this first one will be text only with a separate video link.


This is 'love the world' from 'Perfume'. A very happy and positive Technopop group. They are very popular in their country and they are slowly becoming more known in the West too.
This particular song is the very first one I heard from them.

I'm back with my favorite summer song. 'Summer Time Love' from m-flo, Emi Hinouchi and Ryohei.
m-flo is a rapper who has worked with all kinds of different artists.
I'm not a star in naming genres, but overall his music ranges from Soul, to HipHop and sometimes EDM.

Oh gosh! It's been seriously forever since I've listened to that song by m-flo! I used to listen to the song Miss You in particular alllll the time. Thanks for the translations :) On a side note: I took Japanese in high school, got to an intermediate level, wasn't able to advance to a higher class because only me and one other person signed up (during my senior year) so I was always kind of bummed.. I do wanna pick it up again some day though!

Nice to know there's another Japanese student on here.
I have actually just finished my 10th semester of Japanese Classes. And I will continue in January. It's hard work, but it's fun.
If you want to continue learning you can always search for a school that specializes in language.

I haven't heard Stay Gold yet, but will definitely look it up.

Here is a video I did earlier. It's 'Suisei' (Mercury) from daoko. This one was difficult to translate at certain parts in a way that still makes sense. Sometimes there is just so much information in one sentence.
But anyway, I did alright considering when I made this.

By the way. Just recently I was busy with translating two new songs. But they both grinded to a halt due to untranslatable poetry... Maybe I'll just start with yet another song.
