In mediation, I walked down a hallway, down a winding stairwell, to a door, opened the door and i was in a realm of fire. I felt my soul on fire and saw two fire elemental beings playing with one my artwork and spinning it as it sparked. I kept walking thinking there must be something good here. Then a blue nebula type of vision took over through my forhead and my astral body was gone, the pain ceased, and a strange powerful energy took over. I was one with a consciousness that I relate to as the black sun. It told me its name and showed visons. One main vision was me rising out of the water holding a torch with a blue flame, also had visions of my body being ripped apart and put back together. After working with this enegry for months I found it too overwhelming and to strenuous on my mental status... like i was going nuts. I purged the enegry in a chakra cleaning and saw tons on blue liquid pour out of my third eye. It is a core of something surrounded by a barrier of fire. Has anyone exerienced this too? Thoughts or comments welcome.

It is said to be the heart center of this solar system. To work directly with this source can be very dangerous. But the force is necessary for all life with consciousness and it is latent within everyone. Within right hands it can transform you to your highest self. To increase it you must first have control over it, and to do so you must first understand it.

In Alchemy, the niger sol or the black sun is associated with prima materia. It is associated with the basest nature of all things. This black sol shall turn white then red, the color of the philosopher's stone. It also correlates to one of the three gunas, tama. Search for tamastic qualities and it will describe well your reaction to this source. Ultimately you have to transcend all three gunas. You do this by seeing the black, white, and the red in equal footings. In the human world, black has a negative association and also elicits actual negative reactions. But in reality you cannot attain philosopher's stone without the black base metal. You cannot attain beauty without goodness, and goodness without truth. Black represents the truth.

The being inhabiting the black sun itself actually transcends all three. It is a mysterious harmony of opposites, that of dark and of light. Many have described it evil and tried to renounce it. Still others puzzle over the logical paradox. In truth it is the beginning of your spiritual transformation. In religion, it represents Anatman of Buddhism. The eternal oxymoron of the non-existence of self. To the unlearned masses it is the source of nihilism, but for the spiritually developed it will give you an understanding of the axiom that defies logic. In psychology, this is the night of pan or the dark night of the soul. It heralds the destruction of your ego. The first closing in of the chrysalis. To transform and to break out of your chrysalis is your responsibility only. No one else can teach you this.
