dream about stockings

Hi, I had a dream where I was wearing fishnet stockings (stockings that look like fishnets) and people were telling me that the regular stockings, which I was associating with I had to wear for school, looked better. What could this mean?

fishnets are for catching fish... perhaps the stockings were symbolic of
fishing for a suitor. the "people" seemed to like you being more studious.
the dream might be saying that you'll face societal pressures against
looking for a lover.

thanks :) I do have people that prefer the studious side of me in my life. we'll see what else my dreams reveal!
