Father in law died

Hi
Yesterday my little sister got married to her long time partner. Me and him don't completely see eye to eye but we are amicable. I am very close to my little sister.

Then I had a dream last night that the father of the groom died (My sisters father in law).

I wondered what the significance of this dream is?

Any ideas? Thanks

I suspect it means you have cut off connecting with your sister's partner. Males have to do with action so actively attempting to make a connection is no longer something you are willing to do. It's all just pleasantries. I guess the dream is highlighting this maybe because being closed off in any capacity really only hurts us. So maybe just evaluate for yourself what bothers you about this person. Why do you dislike them so? In some ways the people we hate the most are trying to show us something about ourselves. Try to confront the feelings the man triggers in you to resolve things for yourself. Not that you ever have to be chummy with them but animosity isn't healthy for us and his presence in your life could actually help you heal something within yourself which is always a good thing.

TonySG. is he not known to you personally? it seems that he's only
significant as being in relation to your sister, through her husband.
the dream might be suggesting that your brother-in-law is carrying
an energy handed down to him as through a legacy. your issues with
him could be based off that legacy energy, rather than something he
holds intrinsically within him. perhaps the dream is suggesting that your
brother-in-law is now free to "be his own man", and your difficulties are
a thing of the past.

& your dream seems to be saying that there won't be any joining together with the groom's family on the male side.
It's like that family extension is never going to happen as far as you can see.
