attracting a specific person & signs from the universe

There will always be opposing views on this. Here is what I have personally come to believe as true...

Yes, it is the absolute truth that you can do, be, and have anything you want. But what or who you think you want on the conscious level versus the subconscious level are two different things. And your subconscious always know best. You may logically want "Dave," because of certain qualities you think he has. They are the qualities your subconscious also longs for. But "Dave" might not show up simply because the Universe knows exactly what you want and that "Dave" isn't it. The Universe knows everything there is to know about him. Trust the Universe because It is always trying to save you time.

So basically, I think it is okay to visualize whomever you want, just don't insist. There is nothing wrong with detailed visualizations with specific things, people, and whatnot. Those things get you excited and make visualization fun, which is the point. But say "this or something better.". The Universe knows exactly what and who is best for you. That is where faith comes in. That is the "Let Go And Let God" part.

Conservative Christians often ask "where is God in all of this?"... right there. That part.

Yes you can focus specifically on "Dave" and get him. I believe that is possible. Yes... you can attract a specific person. But in that case, you are no longer affirming to get what is necessarily BEST for you. See the difference?

Drawing someone to you, using mind over matter techniques will never produce a relationship of any worthwhile substance...
Such merely makes the person concerned a slave of or to your desires - if it works at all...
An easy one for karma to sort out when the time is right...

Letting go of any desperation via meditation is also key because desperation inhibits the universe from bringing you the person. What I need now are signs the universe is working in my favor. That's the hard part, I'm always asking myself what could be a sign?

Attracting a specific person is like attracting an iPhone 5 with a particular serial number. You don't need a phone with a specific serial number. You just need a white iPhone 5. So you just send those criteria to the universe.

I never learned LOA, but attracting a specific person didn't work for my friend who did read about LOA. There are many reasons for that. One of it is because of soul contract. Think of our life as a movie, and our reincarnation as a role in that movie.

Let's say the person you want is here in this lifetime is your neighbour only. If you want her to be your lover, you would have to revise the story lines of your movie and her movie. You would have to negotiate with other souls in your movie and in her movie. This may or may not be possible, because everyone is already half way into their movies already.

I believe we do have the ability to change the trajectory of our lives, but less of others.
