Well, what about the Messianic prophesies, which are pretty detailed, and expressive.

What of Daniel 7:13?

Meanwhile, you've given excellent examples yourself.

Prophecy is a good example of what Physics has been telling us since Einstein, regarding how time is "illusory".
The material world and universe exists in, "space/time".

Something that might be worth pondering, whether or not it's relevant to this discussion.

It's because the human brain will manipulate the information coming in based off of the desires of the individual in other words you see what you want to see. Another option is things could coincidentally lineup due to how vague the prophecy was .

And this one's a little bit more metaphysical and "fruity " but there's also the possibility that because of how real magic works and the written language was made to be used by practitioners that we through are beliefs collectively over hundreds of years has shaped are reality to where events seem to happen that " fulfill prophecy"

When one stills the mind ("Be still and know that I AM God"), one transcends the little, very limited mental gestalt called the ego and soars like an eagle into the sky of "I AM" consciousness where the Big Picture becomes clear as it is dynamically unfolding in the PRESENT.

If you really want to understand the process, JUST DO IT and, then, see if you have any more questions.

Jesus also spoke similarly when he said "Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God".

The key to prophecy unfolding in the moment lies in the stillness of the clear expanded vision.

P.S. If you are seriously interested in exploring this, then read Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan's book, "Meditation on the Bible", in which he addresses the issue of how the Jewish prophets were able to enter the elevated states from which they prophesied. Also read Jeremias as that will help one to better understand the dynamic nature of prophecy.

Rickswordfish,
It does not follow that prophecies coming true in the Bible make it the word of God. If I write some prophecies that come to pass, does that make my work “the word of God?” It is easy to write prophecies because we live in repetitive energy cycles in an unawakened state (this is a generalization).
If I understand your concern, it is that if a handful of prophecies in the Bible are true, then the whole of it must be true, and you do not want it to be true.
Spirit does not need a book to communicate with us and we do not need a book to perceive truth. If the book disturbs you, you are free to disregard it.
If it is truth that you are after, it seems evident in creation, seen by observation and felt by the resonant feelings in our sensory (vibrational) bodies. Others have indicated the same in previous posts.
So as not to be misleading, I am not a Christian but I do see a lot of truth in the Bible scriptures. I enjoy reading it from a spiritual (not physical) perspective.
Peace,

The one with the most specifics is daniels prophecy of seventy weeks which seemingly predicts Jesus death as well as the destruction of jerusalem and its temple, whats the rational explanation for a prophecy with such specific details coming true?

The rational explanation is that Daniel was a medium who conversed with God. Lucky for us, he passed on the info.

It seems you are asking the wrong crowd to provide an atheist (rational) explanation of his prophecies coming true. Why not just accept it?

We are trying to help, but it seems that there is only one answer you are looking for.
