Flew Around The World

My father died when I was 6 and I felt his presence very much until I was 9 or so. A few months after that happened my father came to me in a dream and flew through my window and took me around the world- flying above the world. I could see the entire earth- and it felt more real in some ways than ever real life felt. Then he said goodbye to me- for good. I've never felt his presence ever again since that night.

Does anyone know how to explain a dream like this? What the reasoning could be?

What a wonderful experience.....Just because you can no longer feel his presence, does not mean that he is no longer with you, just that he wants you to live your life... Did your experience really happen? Oh yes it did.....you had an out of body experience with your Dad, who loves you very much... it doesn't get any sweeter than that....

It could be you didn't need him to 'hold your hand' anymore and were ready to go it alone, What an amazing gift tho that he stayed with you through the tenderest years.

Sounds like astral travel. I wonder what the difference is when it happens while you're sleeping/dreaming or when it happens when you consciously do it... There is a section here about astral travel. Maybe you can relate to it.

Our loved ones are always with us! I've had my Uncle pay a vist to me and my Mother, and he passed around 10 years ago and I didn't get to meet him, sadly. It was really touching & nice.
