Did your doctor tell you what could have caused your IBS?
If so, is there anything you are doing that keeps your IBS active?
If so, see your doctor again and ask for help in ceasing the cause of your IBS.
IMHO, if what I have mentioned is true for you, then it must be addressed first, or all other remedies get wasted.
