Yes, you can attract a great partner, or even a specific person.

You cannot control anyone through LOA, so don't worry about them only coming to you because of the 'universal pull'.

I suggest that instead of focusing on a person you focus on the type of relationship you want to have. In this way you can attract someone who is seeking the same type of relationship.

As for attracting a specific person, I have done so myself, but it may not be an easy road. You both may have to go through a lot of growth, change, pain, and heartache before you are ready for each other. I wrote a blog post on this some time ago:

If you think you are influencing someone against their will, I think you've been misled by the info that you read.

Whether your like it or not, your thoughts will manifest into reality. So if you focus on "consciously thinking" of a specific person, they will manifest in you life.

Thanks Tom - Thoughtism for the encouraging words. I think I shouldn't try to manifest ' a specific person ' because I'm afraid of the unwarranted Universal pull. I have to work on my self esteem and doubts I attract negative energy
. I do know what I'm looking for in a relationship as far as beliefs, but then again I what I hail to be the Truth could cause conflict between me and my significant other. I'll just ask God & Universe for guidance leading me on my path.

I personally have tried techniques to try and attract an "ideal" if you will partner.

I listed physical and personality attributes I could relate to.

Kind and honest were first on my list. I also asked for a quality of friendship.
Those personality qualities are the most important to me.
Also I asked for a love that is real, a two way street where it is agreed that emotions are acceptable.
I listed physical characteristics.

I have not had a significant other like relationship for quite a few years.
The entire time I have been working on myself, my own personality and my own faults.

Your willingness and desire to work on yourself is honorable in itself.

I realize for myself, I may never find that emotional yet relate able significant other. But I have myself, faith in myself, faith in something higher than myself, family and friends whom posses the personality qualities that I listed I wanted for a lover, and emotional support.

What more could we ask for?
