Do people have Archangels as personal angels?

They're not anyone's personal guide, but they are your friends and mentors

Once folks are at a certain place on your journey, they often find they are calling on what we call archangels from time to time for healing work or healing circles, including the spiritual healing that is mainly of the "talk therapy" and transparent presence variety. At least on occasion

I looked at Doreen's site and read about those she lists. Of course, to me they appear nothing like those pictures, but they are surely just randomly chosen representations. They do give a some flavor and the energy is good...though of course they are much more. The site just gives a very brief summary of sorts, highlighting certain things. If you work with them, then you may apprehend their uniqueness differently from the next person...though broad similarities apply.

I always found it interesting how Lorna Byrne's physical description of the "adam kadmon" (illuminated "human" form) of the angels I knew of matched what I've seen with my spiritual sight. (I cannot of course see them in that form directly with my physical sight...only as orbs of light sometimes).

Actually from what I've experienced they are capable of being someone's personal guide. Now are they going to? No probably not. But they are more than capable of being a personal guide as well as being in so many different places at once. You have to remember that they are not held back by time. They could be here next to me and next to you at the same time. In the past, future, even other dimensions all at once. So like I said they are perfectly capable of doing it, but they probably won't because that would take away learning experiences for other angels who still need to learn how to guide and protect.

Learning to guide? You know I re-read your message Kitty and thought about it for a while. At first I thought learning how to be a guide or special angel was absolutely absurd, but then I remembered God only lets angels know as much as he wants. They don't know everything. So angels who ar closer to our vibration or angels who have been chosen for a specific task might have to work towards it or learn since God wants us to learn things on our own. Why not angels? He doesn't want everything handed to us on a silver platter. I can see it now, an angel practicing to protect people looking up to their superiors. :)

Personally I have trouble believing in angels while still reading about them.

I could ask myself or higher self/ mind until I am blue in the face. For me I don't think it matters so much what is protecting us, but rather that we as people do indeed feel safe.

I am tired of being fearful of things, people places and spent not much time wondering if I am protected by an angel, god, guide and such.

I spend more time learning how to protect myself.

Do I think I have an angel? No. It doesn't bother me if I don't. I still am open to listen to and read and learn of others belief in them. If anything in an effort to understand other human beings around me and in life. I do believe in effort.

Hi Rose,

The subject of archangels as personal guides gets some pretty hot debate A lot of people hold the perception that archangels only deal with BIG problems and that's largely down to people who publish "heirarchies" of angels, which gives the impression that "higher up" angels aren't interested in small lives. That hasn't been my experience of them. I find they're very interested.

"Archangel" isn't technically a species. It's a job title. Yes they are like manager angels, but creation is built in such a way as they're able to do other things too, and often at the same time as they're being managers. They don't have the same sort of time we do on Earth. Things all happen at once up there, life is timeless to them. They can "manage" at the same time as they visit Earth and spend a day guiding an individual. They can be in many places at once, at many different vibrations simultaneously.

It's normal for an archangel to be called in to work with someone who's ascending. Those people need specialist guidance, which is why I have an archangel as a personal guide. Azrael tends to a lot of "ascendees" in person because he's the cosmic intelligence most suited to that work.

Archangels also get called specifically to work with particularly difficult cases, especially around extreme suffering and abuse or neglect of children. Cases where entire continents are left underpriviledged attract very powerful beings willing to "fight" for that cause. They aren't always archangels, though the archangels will always help. There are more powerful, more aware beings than archangels out there who are heavily involved on Earth too.

Archangels also spend a lot of time around humans who share their soul family frequency. When angelic beings take on human bodies, they retain an energetic signature (most of the body doesn't become human, after all) and their soul family sticks around to help. There are hundreds of thousands of incarnated angelic energies on Earth today, and all of them are accompanied, whether they know it or not, by at least one archangel, but usually all of them.

The archangels are all individuals. Some of them want to work in specific fields because that's where they're strongest. Michael likes to protect, especially the weak. Gabriel likes to nurture. She's a specialist at tough love and spends a lot of time working for women. She hates to see women underpriviledged. Raphael obviously likes to heal, he craves seeing balance and health in others. Lucifer works with fear, to heal and release it. Azrael specialises in transition. If there's a human who particularly needs any of these lessons as a theme in life, an archangel will usually step up to guide them personally.

Ascending humans often get ALL the archangels. Ascension requires work on every aspect of the personality, psyche, flesh and spirit bodies and balancing of every aspect of self, so the archangels tend to work together to that end.

It's normal to have an archangel as a personal guide. They take a keen interest in individuals. They aren't too high or distant and you dont need to have been a saint in another life to get their attention.

I have a LOT of archangels around me At night my house is FULL of them. They LOVE to speak to humans, they absolutely love it when they can converse with us. it's so unusual for them to be able to have a conversation that a channel is such a lovely novelty for them, they come as a group and even bring their younger children and students to watch. I've never known another guide who isn't an archangel. They've become the family I chose for myself. Archangels can be surprisingly playful ;) It's not a serious group to be a part of, believe me. I often write about how the archangels watch TV with me and do other mundane things. People think I'm spouting nonsense. They LIKE to be recognised and they like to be seen. They'll take any chance they can get to be around loving humans.

There's nothing overly special about one human who has archangels around compare to any other person. If you're open and they can chat to you, they'll come in droves no matter who you are or what you've done, thought or said in the past. They're very inclusive. They have an inclusive culture behind the scenes too.

I do not have archangels as personal guardian angels. But I know Raphael, Gabriel, and Michael have been assigned as part of my spiritual Council to help me with different aspects of myself.

But yes exactly! Just like us, angels and other beings are constantly learning and growing. We help them grow, just like they help us grow. I'm glad I conveyed that message correctly. :)

I completely agree and this is what I meant by archangels being your friends and mentors but not your exclusive personal guide in the sense of being assigned to your soul exclusive to all other souls.

That is not their "job"...as they are available as guides (as needed) to everyone else simultaneously as well. That's the bit Holly & others have mentioned about their ability to be many places at once. And to be with many souls at once. Moreover, there is an awful lot of group work done in the spiritual realm with multiple souls and one or more archangel .

They are not exclusively yours, hahaha -- and this is what I meant by archangels not being your soul's own exclusive guide. There are other angels who are assigned exclusively to your soul, and to the divine spark that defines it. Though you can work with the archangels for as long and as often as needed on whatever applies

What Holly said about many archangels being involved with folks is very true for some of us...and probably will continue to be true for many, many more folks in future
