smelling burning rubber, white floating ribbon?

I hope to find an answer, please be as forward as you can ! :-D
Last night, I was asking my guide to help me figure out what I need to work on, as I feel somewhat lost or unsure. I asked for a sign. Within an hour, while lying in bed I started smelling burning rubber. I asked my hubby and kids, they insisted they didn't smell a thing. I investgated the entire main floor, found nothing. I went back to my room, the smell was completely gone. I thought heh, that's weird. Normally I would sense a spirit around and bot just smell something.

This morning, I was leaving for work. Went to put my shoes on, got a funny feeling of a presense and out of the corner of my eye, saw what looked like a whitish ribbon about a foot long kindof dancing slowly. I went to look directly at it, and it was gone. Ive never seen a ribbon before, only shadows or sparkle like things.

So, I'm wondering is the burning rubber smell a sign to look at my root chakra? Is it an imbalance? Was it a spirit? What about the ribbon? My guide, or just a spirit?

Any thoughts would help, I'm very tired today bc if this! LOL

I can think of two things , a ghost with that smell atached to him/her . Some thing from a pats life . Maby you worked with burnning rubber , or died in a fire .

Ohhh desert rat. That may be it. A psychic/medium told me I was hung and burned in a past life.

Now if it is a ghost is that a negative thing as burning rubber doesnt really resemble a nice smell?

I don't mean to scare-monger but you can also Google this if you like but the smell of burning rubber can be a sign of a brain tumour or the prelude to a stroke ... it might be worth getting yourself checked out . . .

Yes lucid68, I did see that. To be honest, I'm not thinking that's what it was. I'm young and healthy. Buy to add to this, a couple days ago it happened again. But this time my friend smelled it too. We were both puzzled. I said : do you smell that?? And he quickly replied: burning rubber?? So strange.

Don't disregard the electrical wires(commonly chewed by rats, etc.) and electrical appliances(some burns up due to being faulty or just not up to safety standard in some countries) on the spot where you smell that, too.
