Hindus are trying to make Hinduism universal

The East makes it's move. Not only is the Eastern economy booming but one of the great religions of the East is making its presence felt. Hinduism is telling everyone that it is the universal religion and that it's truth is applicable to all. The New Age movement in the West is just a sign that the Eastern shockwave is being felt.

I've considered this issue my whole life and my conclusion is that Enlightenment and Self Realisation are not universal truth. They remain Hinduism or Buddhism and do not address the full issues presented to us by life.

I know many of you will be in disagreement with what I'm saying. I've come full circle and am now of the opinion that Christ really is the only way to God. I'm not saying this out of religious dogma or conditioning but rather from my own personal experience as a human being.

I've said for years that the New Age Movement is just a recycled version of Hinduism.....and yes....interest in it in the west has definitely increased in my opinion. .

Of course, Honza.
And the same goes for the other paths you are accusing of "telling everyone" exactly the same thing - what their personal experience indicates.

The interesting thing is that no one's claims as to what constitutes a viable path, are inherently prohibitive to others' pursuit of their own path....unless one wants to distract themselves by complaining about those other paths.
