Yes a lot of times, I feel for you as I know the feeling is not pleasant. I don't know much about lucid dreaming, so I would leave it to someone who's expert, but in my experience the physical weakness in dreams always pointed out to my weakness in real life, a warning that I could do more.
Once I had a dream that I was taking part in a marathon, but while all the other participants were running, I was merely crawling and I could not stand on my feet
Eventually I started jogging for real and as I could feel the benefits I would also feel more self confident in life and ready to take action.
