Lily Dale Reading

In May my husband bought me a reading at Lily Dale as a surprise. It was a good reading, and most interesting to me aside from the content was how I felt afterwards for several hours--very warm. loved, and good.

The medium who gave the reading said I was very open and that that was unusual. She will be teaching a class there in the summer of 2013.

I don't know what I think. On the one hand, I'm kind of at a crossroads in my life and need a new direction. On the other, I think there are real risks in developing this.

What do you think?

Also, I did not get the one thing I was hoping for from the reading, but I've heard you get what you need, not what you want. Still the question I had continues to trouble me. I am thinking I may just have to accept I won't know the answer in this lifetime.

Sorry you weren't totally satisfied with your reading at Lily Dale. It seems that your reading was done by a medium. Have you thought of getting a different type of reading - such as a Tarot reading - to have your questions answered. If you don't wish for a Tarot reading there are psychics, too, that you can go to.

I think the answers I want are inside me, and if I can't access them on my own there's probably a good reason for it. I feel like I just have to accept that and let it go.

I did like my reading, but I don't know if I want to train to do readings. I think that will work itself out too, in time. It's so hard to find work here, but I can write too, so there's that.
