the "mystery building" sounds interesting to me.. but you've only mentioned
it in passing, as the setting for the scene.
the soap opera personalities involvement provides this scene with a "make believe"
feeling... and the box that might open by speaking certain words seems to be
a "magic box". winning a lottery might be thought of as a 'pipe dream' for
many/most people... something considered, but recognized as fanciful.
on the whole, i'm thinking that the dream has reflected to you your innate
knowledge of there being something of value to you hidden within the tv
shows you've watched over the years. the 'magic box' might represent the
television itself.
the word "cuffs" (as in handcuffs?) would probably serve to unlock the treasure,
but unlocking that information (the lottery numbers) also serves to bring you
into wakefulness... which might indicate that you've already acquired that
valuable information, and are currently applying it in your waking life.
