Truth and Hell:)

There is a hell you can experience once you think you know the truth. It is the hell of having it contradicted by something hidden that you didn't know about when you thought you knew the truth :)

If you live by the premise that the truth cannot be known, nothing will ever contradict it.

The hell arises when we think we know the truth, but realise we do not.

Two of my favourite quotes, back to back:

Hello. Suggest that unless we consider our certainties as stepping stones beneath our feet, our certainties may become mill stones around our necks.

Sometimes an uncomfortable paradox to live with--comfort being more likely to found in certainty described as truth. petex

It is not that the truth cannot be known but that WE cannot know whether what WE regard as the truth, is the truth or not.

It is only a problem if we are conditioned to believe that whatever we resonate with HAS to be the truth. If that conditioning is not present or has been transcended, we can just make do with the resonance:)
