Strange aura behaviors

Ever since I was a child I could auras and spirits alike and was always being told by many people that I was extremely powerful for my age. One day I couldn’t take being able to see and feel everything that I was so I’d locked my power away. Recently I finally managed to get a little of it back and ever since I have had random encounters with people stopping me on the streets to ask how and why my aura was so different from other people. Some have told me that they witnessed it suddenly flare up and become massive in size, some have asked where my aura was, and one time I was feeling extreme feelings of pure hatred and darkness and someone stayed far away from me to ask what I was and when I asked them what they meant they told me my aura looked like it was black tendrils so dark they seemed to absorb everything around them coming from my body. Has anybody else experienced this sort of thing or can possibly explain why this stuff could possibly be happening or even how it could?
