Why do I keep seeing him?

I'm 99.9% sure he's not my Twin Flame. We're nothing alike. I haven't spoken to him in 2 years. We had a short and passionate relationship that ended in a bang and crash. Long story short, he screwed my life over... he moved back to my town awhile ago, but we never crossed paths. I rarely saw him or his family until this past week. Now every single day, I keep seeing him or his family, everyone I meet has brought him up as "I was just with (name)" "I have to call (name)". Wayy too close for comfort... I may be going to an event (which I can't miss) that he is going to and I'll have to be in the same place as him and I'm nervous. I know it's most likely just a coincidence but I feel like the universe is trying to pull us together for some reason. Any thoughts? :/

I think that you see this because you may want to? He has just moved back so it kind of makes sense that you bump into him or start hearing about him.

it does not need to be a romantic reconnection, nor is there any urgency to try too. your memory of him reminds you of the hurt you experienced (past tense) and you are worried that he may take you down that path of hurt once more, the fact that it is "way to close for comfort" suggests you are not quite ready to meet him yet, and that is determined by the fact that you may not want too.

there are no hard and fast rules you can apply here except to find that balance within yourself and to remain level headed

remember this.... your loving energy is your responsibility not his, the moment you give it away in anothers keeping you loose to his agenda(s)
