NDE vs OBE

We spend 25% of our lives sleeping, and more often than not--dreaming; dreams can be abstract glimpses into our "inheritance" or "lot" after changing form. If you believe in an afterlife, then there must be an abode to host these realms or realities. Do you believe dreams and the after-life are correlated, or two separate instances? They say sleep is the "cousin of death", does this phrase ring true with you?
