could this be seeing energy?
im sorry if this sounds daft but i am clueless about auras. since a young age, when i wake i kind of feel colours, i'm sorry if i sound a little mad lol but if i woke up and i felt 'dark' colours or the room looked dull i would always have a miserable day! and the opposite with bright colours it's not every day and i don't physically see the colours but do you think this could be a type of reading energy?

cat-lady... It doesn't sound crazy to me. Some people feel more than see energies. I'm like that too.
Now that you know what kind of energy you are feeling that leads to a good or bad day, you may change it. Next time those dull colors show up try breathing bright light into and around them, and into and around yourself, and see if it makes a difference.
