A sad week for Motorsport .....

It's been a sad week for Motorsport .....

First we had the hugely likeable and talented Dan Wheldon, tragically killed in Las Vegas last weekend in the IndyCar Championship .......

Then today, we hear about the sad loss of the MotoGP Racer Marco Simoncelli ........

R.I.P. Dan and Marco.

Two fine young men lost in the prime of their lives ...... gone but not forgotten.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to all their families.

I just posted the same thing, but i dont say RIP ,,, why would you want to being a sportsman who loved speed and adrenaline ? why rest ? a bit boring dont you think ? however it is a most saddening day for us humans who can no longer enjoy thier spectacles of sportmanship in front of our eyes...... But our deceased relatives can ... well thats what i like to think anyway.

I am an F 1 and Saloon Car Racing fan but, to be honest, I have never seen the attraction of American Oval racing. Still, a thought for two dead racers
