I just realized

well i've known for a while that we seem to like collecting limitations, we like to say what cannot be.

I just realized today that even something as simple as proclaiming what it 'is' is along the same lines... because when we proclaim what it is we also mean to exclude what it isn't.

maybe the advice from our elders, that we should just shut up, is more on target than we want to think...

sigh.

Hi Falling Leaves,

At times saying "it is what it is" is just accepting what is going on.
Not so much what it isn't, because what it isn't at times has nothing to do with what is happening.

Yes, at times it better to remain silent, especially if what is going on is not my bussiness or I am not understanding the situation.

Sometimes being silent can calm my mind to just take in the scenery. Like watching a sunset. There are times to enjoy what unfolds, any words are just projections of what is thought ito be.

Just some thoughts.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

i guess if you know you don't know what it is, you also know that deciding what it is at random just creates lines in the sand?
