The potential of good and evil.

Human are descendants of Gods and Gods are animals evolved form. So it's this potential for human have inherited the animal behavior of cruelty , desire, depress, thrill........ (all types of emotional habits to tackle their daily life for survival) of Gods.

Another factor is human life is always have the Gods' or demon's intervention. This lead to more uncontrollable evil doing in human societies it's the unavoidable connection and relationship.

Nevertheless human are taught in school for many generations that moral is an important part in human life. Then civilization are becoming human cultural diversity. Yet, evil feeling is still prevail in certain personal outlook or habitual behavior practice. So it let to form a wrong concept that there must need to have evil intervention for the natural human life of existence.

We can say, it's hard to cancel "evil" totally in human perception and breakout of evil. As I said, they have the potential of evil of animals and survival is one of the factor that sometimes causes it to happen then human developed a set of laws to guide them. By these law to minimize the outbreak of unnecessary evil doing but when evil is done then the one has to pay for the evil doing. This is human social problems. No to say, nature needs evil to balance something. That's a misleading concept.

Consider this: The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Religions do need belief in evil because otherwise they would have no followers.
Your post is shortsighted by your grudge against religions.

There is an endless list of facts and people that can be called evil, with no religious connotation.

I reject all religions because they turn people into ignorants. I would not call this 'shortsighted' and 'grudge' but it is simply a view based on rationality and direct perception.
In contrast to all other religions buddhism can be completely purified from all taints of religious beliefs and what then remains is a rationally valid approach to emancipation and autonomy.

People can call people as they like without there being rational reasons for it. 'evil' is a moral judgement and as such it is based on mere irrational belief.
