The Midnight Man

I was watching videos of urban legends/creepypasta and this one caught my attention. The "Midnight Game" is said to be an old Pagan ritual, used mainly to punish those who have broken the laws of the Pagan religion in question. Here are the instructions: Midnight Game

I don't see any purpose of doing this ritual besides the thrill of it. And who knows, this 'Midnight Man' might stick around if you successfully summon him. And by the short description of this ritual and where it originated from - I say this was used mainly for covens to keep their oath a secret. Anyway, I found it interesting and thought I would share.

Who would want to play that game. What is the reward?

If you don't believe in it there is nothing to lose except that believing isn't a necessary ingredient to play that game of make believe.

I think I know him. I often have to meet at exactly midnight...3:33am is the other time I often am summoned. That is not the midnight man..It is his better half....

I know who he is. I know him well. He is real and I wouldn't play a game with him because he will win every time. He might let you think you won.

We fear the darkness but midnight is a very powerful time. It is a shadow time, when the borders are unclear. It is a time when rules can be bent.
