Himalaya Salt/Lamps?
Hi there, wasn't sure where to post this, but, has anyone heard of the Himalaya Salts/Lamps? If yes, do you have any insights about it? I have some info and could google it, but, was wondering if anyone had any experience with these salts?

I have been thinking about getting a salt lamp myself. I am very interested in the replies to this!

I have two large ones in my home, along with a large selenite lamp. The salt lamps really do ground energy in a room and make the space more pleasant. I also put a lot of other crystals around the lamp and this seems to amplify its aura, although nothing beats a selenite lamp for lifting energy upward toward the cosmic!
In my bedroom I have a selenite lamp and salt lamp together, along with some sacred statues that are made of copper and bronze. I feel that including metal grounds a lot of energy. The combo of these three has really changed my sleep for the better, and made out of body experiences easier.

Sorry, forgot to mention... salt lamps work on the principle of negative ionization. It's like when you stand before the ocean crashing into the shore. All of the ions released cause calm and groundedness. The salt lamps work the same.

another way to achieve this is to either put large salt crystals directly onto your radiator, or if you can't find them, an opened glass jar of course, untreated sea salt---the room will lift in minutes. of course this only works if you have your heating on...certainly negates the stuffyness caused by central heating systems.

I have two salt lamps. A large one in the living room which also makes a very nice night lite. Then a small one in the bedroom behind a picture as they are too bright for me to sleep well with them on.
I agree that the room seemed much more pleasant and airy the first night I used it.

This is interesting thank you all.
i've been thinking of getting one, I loved the Himalayas when I went there last year and the energy was aaaaaaaaaaa-maaaaaaaaaaaaazing.
I had some sort of awakening there and so want to hone into that energy as much as I can.
