What does it feel like to Give energy healing?

Welcome to the forum and this conversation. Is your energy healing reiki or another method? Have you always had the ability to do this? Do you use hands on the persons shoulders? Did you train to do this?

Energy healings I do are Kundalini Reiki, The Golden Light and The Golden Ray. So yes there was attunements to these. But I believe we all have some kind of a healing ability already within us. Mostly I do distant/remote healing, so it's not necessary to be in the same place with the person I'm healing.

Yes, I can use Golden Ray methods on myself too. I feel that Golden Ray is powerful, it goes somehow deeper than for example kundalini reiki. It's kind of a soul healing, that's how I feel about it.

That sounds really interesting. How would you go about using the Golden Ray energy on yourself? What does it feel like? Do you let the energy go where it needs to, feeling that it will go where it is needed, or do you direct the healing into the body that you feel needs healing? Do you have any third eye activity whilst receiving the healing?

When doing the golden ray you need to visualize that you are inside of that golden ray energy and there is no need to direct it, it goes where it's needed. It's hard to describe with words how does it feel, it just feels like it goes deep and the I feel that energy is somehow more powerful. I think my third eye is quite open, I see energies even when I'm not meditating or healing. I do also get visions and intuitive "messages" when I'm healing other people, that happens with all the energy healings I do. When I do self healing, it's bit different, I just enjoy the energy.

One time when I gave the golden ray healing to another person, she had visions about her past life and she told it was like she was in some kind of a trance state.

Thank you, Lucky said there were many different types of energy healing methods, I hadn't realised there were so many. I guess it's such an individual experience that even two reiki practitioners giving healing may experience it in slightly different ways.

Question for AWaleiya and seed - when I'm doing healing on myself and can feel the energy in my body, if my mind wanders which it does, I become less aware of the energy. if I focus my mind on the energy again it instantly feels stronger. Does this happen to either of you?

I have studied reiki (not going to call myself a practitioner yet since I haven't been practicing). When I did give others reiki, I usually feel the energy coming down my arms and out my palms. Sometimes I do become warm during the session. My instructor has said that she sometimes gets hot and starts sweating - she calls it reiki flashes. I also notice when I begin, it can take maybe 5 minutes for the energy to flow through.

Some people might be able to feel energy blockages or interruptions while scanning the client's energy before beginning. I have not been able to experience this yet. Like you, I also sense the energy more when I concentrate on what I'm doing.

Hi Patrycia

There is so many different healing techniques out there, but what you are describing is that you are fine tuned with energy. You mention your hands heating up. When we open ourselves up to healing energy, we notice the hands becoming warm-hot much quicker than we do the other areas of the body.

When you mention you can feel the energy rising up through the feet into the body, that is you pulling the energy via mother earth into yourself. When people use healing techniques on others, they would open and connect themselves to the *universal energy* via the crown, and the flow of energy would go down into the body.

But you describe so indepthly how much you an feel the energy flowing through you, your body and you seeing via your brow/3rd eye, you mention
seeing *aura* or equilibrium bottles.
Please look into this further, as when the healing guides/angels or spirits send healing or flow healing energy through, we can see the colours of the energy and become aware what area of the body the energy is being directed to (not just the chakras, but different areas of the body also has colour)

I do detect you are questioning the aspect of healing, this is fantastic, as not many actually delve into energy itself but rely on *trusting* their guides. there is so much more to learn and it all begins with energy, all of what your describing. You will be a very powerful energy worker/healer if you ever decide to venture further in this area.
you are being guided and shown *truth* to all your questions, via self experiences. When it all comes together it will make so much sense to you.
You have a good group working with you.

You also mention while in the group, at one point you felt they were sending healing to you, then you dismissed the thought. it could well be, that you were receiving healing energy, if you were not feeling 100% good. We do not have to *turn* on healing energy, it is within us and at times, we only have to be near an ill person or someone whos tired for the energy to connect and instantly start sending or receiving.

same again with trying to send healing to yourself, it is possible to speed up the healing process of any ailments or injuries. it is easier if you *direct* the energy to the area, than allowing it to flow freely, as the healing energy would then spread through the body, if that makes sense.
When guides/angels/spirits help with healing, their energy flows through our body, we usually see this part via colours, feelings and thoughts. 3rd eye and the mind.
What you at describing is self discovery, if the story on Usui who is the founder of reiki, resonates with you. The parts where he questioned energy and healing, and then went searching to find the answers. Then you will know the answer is your being guided through channeling truth about energy and healing. A lot of healers only know what they been shown, but to go deeper into the *whys* this is where atm. Far more powerful stuff.
