Astral Travel is Evil?

I think all you can do is tell him is that he is entitled to his opinion. Remember that dreaming is unplanned astral travel...should you become lucid it can turn into astral travel.

One of the first steps of someone seeking spiritual development is they find the need to drive their own life. So...stick to your guns, as the saying goes!

Evil is a matter of perception and opinion. What we as Human-beings have been raised and taught as being evil is not necessarily evil for other races of beings that exist in other dimensions and so forth. Just because we view something as evil, bad, or wrong doesn't necessarily mean it is viewed that way anywhere else by any other race of beings or in other dimensions. And since evil is based on an individual's perception, opinion, and what they have been taught your best bet is simply to agree to disagree. If they want to view astral projection as evil or wrong that is up to them. But I think that going off of vague information one reads on the internet about astral projection most of which is flawed, inaccurate, speculative, or purely based on someone else's opinion is incredibly closed minded. The truth is that the majority of the information out there about astral projection both the positive and the negative is flawed, inaccurate, speculative, and based on someone's opinion and so unless a person experiences astral projection for themselves they will never know what it really is. Anything other that is passing judgment on something they know absolutely nothing about and so in reality their opinion is completely meaningless and holds no realistic value in regards to what astral projection is or is not.

well i m a Christian and i see dreams lucid or very clear where i san choose where i m heading to.
i believe that you deal with thw real YOU without ego interference.
if your heart is pure you have nothing to fear.
what i wonder is what will happen if someone wakes you up at that time.
could that be dangerous?

The bible warns against the use of any magic. Astral travel arguably falls into something god forbid under the reasoning of it is not our place. Like the tower of babble astral travel could be considered over stepping our place.

With that said, there is absolutely nothing you can tell your friend that will change his mind. The best thing that can happen here is for the two of you to just accept and respect the others beliefs.

A closed door will remain so until someone with a key opens it.

just pondered something this morning. just accept and respect the others beliefs. looking at the news today, i wondered if that is the answer. the problem with isis is we cannot talk about the elephant in the room. the elephant is the older religions.

just ponder and still pondering. wonder what will be when i am done percolating about this. any input???
