According to the kabbalistic tree of life,Metatron represents the qualities of kether,which is the highest sphere.Something like the first filter of god's energy.

As you said Metatron comes right after God Almighty in the angelics' hierarchy. So, I've studied in the Bible that Lucifer was the first one; I am a little confused. Please give me more explanation if you can.

I don't like theory that much.It creates mind filterts,and then when you want to approach these beings,you can't get the real deal,due to what you think of them.
I suggest to read Josephine Mccarthy books.She works with beings for almost 40 years and you'll find good infos about angelics and what they are.

I think the angles more than the human so maybe be their 2000000000000 angles that's funny
