Yeah really good to see the under dog Albania do well!
We have a player Dominic Szoboslai in the Hungarian team, so I’ll be keeping an eye on him….gorgeous guy…ho hum.
Just watched first interview of our new manager Arne Slot at Anfield. He seems like a good guy and plays very similar style to Klopp ie attacking football. Can’t wait for the season to start.
AB i saw the interview of Bellingham and he said he loves the Beatles and plays them a lot plus other “vintage” music. Blimey am I a vintage listener lol

Red.. didn't notice your man yesterday in hungary game, but game was disturbed by workmen with a cherry picker right outside house . They were going round the houses looking for the owner of a car that was in the way .
Haha, I think we all like the vintage songs to some degree , but it's nice when the kids like them too especially when they are way before their time.
My kids like the beach boys and bob Dylan etc.
But it's great to hear certain songs used as anthems. "Hey Jude" is just perfect isn't it for Bellingham , and the fact that he lives the Beatles is great.
Good that your new manager is slotting in well at Anfield ( see what I did there ? LOL..)

Yesterday's results.
Germany 2 Hungary 0.
I did a "double take" with Germany's kit , pink and purple. It was quite smart but just not "Germany".
But otherwise the game was badly disrupted cos of workmen .
Don't they know the euros are on ? LOL.
And then...
Scotland 1 Switzerland 1.
A brilliant game. Scotland really came alive and played well and either side could have pinched a winner .
It keeps a glimmer of hope for Scotland.
If they can beat Hungary, and Germany can thrash Switzerland on goals then Scotland could go through . It's a big ask, but can be done.
The scottish fans were brilliant.
But to be fair , ALL the fans have been great .

Enjoying it all so far. Looking forward to the England game, wondering
if England will improve on their last performance, they most likely will.
Great result against Serbia but overall it wasn't a great performance. Let's
see what happens. Germany looked very cool and calculated, they gotta be
the favourites atm. Early days ! Still time for a few outbursts from Keane. lol

Morning Joe.
Yes, we always kind of assume England will perform better, but they really do need to "up " their performance.
Many many teams played and performed so much better.
I actually said to my husband last night that Scotland , against Switzerland played better than England did !!!
France too I think played on a par with England.
As you say, Germany looking good at the moment , but true, very early days still.
As for Keane, I'm thinking of 'sending him off' . He's been disappointing too, far too quiet and polite for my liking haha....
Enjoy the Game later.

Keane moaned about the Scotland captains comments after the Germany game , and I rubbed my hands and thought "yeah...here we go .." and nothing since !!! I'm almost tempted to ask for my licence fee back !
Spain / Italy tonight should be good though .
I thought Spain were looking good.

He’ll get his wild one up sooner or later, something will happen and he’ll ’have an opinion.’ I have been impressed by Thomas Frank as a pundit. He is a good mix of knowledge, insight and quirkiness.

What??? It’s typical opening game stuff. The difference now being that England actually win the opening game and take the pressure off. Before GS became manager, we would usually draw the opening game 1-1 and then be huffing and puffing in the next one. England weren’t that bad in the game either, it’s just that we live in an over-reactive world where everything is a crisis.
As for other teams, it’s only Spain and Germany from the seeded teams who have played well so far. Portugal, Italy and Holland all had to battle for 2-1 victories. And France won 1-0 with an own goal and slackened off in the second half. The big teams are getting their fitness up, having largely not played for a month. The team which wins is usually one which picks up momentum throughout the tournament, rather than peaking too soon.
